Spring Hair Color Trends
Spring is here, and if you’re ready to ditch your dark, winter locks, you’re certainly not alone.
Below are some ways to add some light back into your hair without going full-on Summer blonde right away. This is much easier on your hair, and the shock factor.
We’ve all seen it. It’s hard to ignore this hair trend. No matter your thoughts on it, it’s actually one of the easiest ways to begin the hair transformation.
If your hair is a medium to dark brown, a gorgeous caramel shade would flatter your deep tone.
For dark blond to light brown, I recommend sticking with a cooler blonde to best compliment the lighter tone.
I love adding a couple pieces of blonde in the bang area as well to really help bring the look together.
If you’re not ready to bust out the full head of blonde, this is for you. A couple highlights at your hairline in the front and on the sides can brighten up your whole look. Not only will it give off the impression that you have a completely fresh color, it will add depth and dimension to any solid color.
Either of these options will allow you to easily transition to a lighter shade by Summer. I advise my clients to go slow when it comes to lightening up. Done in the wrong way, it can damage your hair. Transitioning back to blonde over the course of 2 appointments, is better for the hair and generally creates a better end result.
