Perfect Sultry Date Night Makeup Tutorial
After looking back through previous date night makeup looks I’ve done, I wanted to do something a little different this time. Something a little more bold, colorful, and that would stand out.
I’ve had this Eye pigment from Younique for literally 4 years and I barely used it. If I did use it, it was always as an accent color, never the star of the show. Today, I pushed myself and wanted to do a whole look centered around this shade, appropriately named “Heartbroken”.
I used a combo of neutral shades from other palettes and pigments to frame the eye look, but as you can see the gorgeous cranberry color that Heartbroken has stands out more than anything.
Something else I did that I felt brought this look together was using the Heartbroken shade to smoke out the lower lash line. With red/pink tones, it can easily look like you’re sick. However, if there is a buffer between your eye and the shadow, it eliminates that. In this look, I used black liner/shadow and then smoked the cranberry shade into that.
For my lips, I used a combo of a pink lipstick (Conceited) and a nude/soft brown gloss (Luxe).
